Pumpkin and Pizza

On Saturday our small group came over for a PUMPKIN and PIZZA Night.  We haven’t done one of these in quite a while and this year decided it was time we did.

It is an event where we get together, eat some pizza (chips, nachos, and Halloween candy) and carve our pumpkins, BYOP (bring your own pumpkin).

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed myself more.  We laughed about the danglies in our pumpkins and made fun of those who put the pumpkin gunk in the pumpkin seed bowl.

We had 8 pumpkins in total and 8 very different designs.  We had to work in rounds though as our kitchen table isn’t very big and elbows fly when you are cleaning out those pumpkins.

While we took turns working our pumpkins, we also took turns watching the baby, sorry she is one year old, does that still make her a baby?

She has a plethora of fun little toys, especially a singing purse.

She was a fan of Coffee Crisps in the package and was very gracious to share her Cheerios with Molly.

Who, as you can see, is sticking pretty close to the little one, in case she decided to share her Coffee Crisp.

Nate said he took a flattering picture, no matter what I tried to do.

As we waited for pizza to arrive we marveled at how big a little girl’s mouth could get, while she waited for her mac and cheese.

Our pumpkins turned out great and after being fed our pizza we lit them to give them a test run.

Hope you had a fun weekend too.
